A wedding and marriage of two dedicated runners, that is! We had a beautiful day photographing the wedding of Ali and Shawn Kelley. Pre wedding photos of the groom were taken at The Crowne Plaza Melbourne Oceanfront on an unseasonably cool Florida day! No worries. The Crowne Plaza is a beautiful hotel with beautiful vistas of the Atlantic Ocean.

The ladies were inland at the Bride’s parent’s beautiful home on Merritt Island between the Banana River and Indian River Lagoon. The day started out cloudy but the light was still beautiful coming in through the arched front door at one end and tall bay windows directly opposite in the formal living room.

But the stunning photos of the day were taken where her grandmother had always hoped Ali would descend on her wedding day. It was her wish for her granddaughter to have her wedding photo taken here…

Both of her Grandmother’s portraits are at the top of those stairs. How incredibly touching and special! What a beautiful bride!

The ceremony took place at Georgianna United Methodist Church in Merritt Island, Florida. White rose petals and candle lit lanterns lined the aisle for the bride and her father! The grapevine, fern arbor, and bridal party flowers were styled Eau Gallie Florist . The historic chapel and memory garden was a beautifully simple backdrop for the Bride and Groom!

The reception was held in the Grand Ballroom of the Crowne Plaza Melbourne Oceanfront. The tables were gorgeous. The DJ was amazing. The guests were having an incredible time dancing and celebrating Ali and Shawn! There was even an artist PAINTING the event!A Sparkler exit warmed up the weather but love was already in the air!
